Girl with Red Sneakers

Kalajoki, Finland

If you see me wearing any other shoes than sneakers it will be miracle. Red is definitely my favorite color when we talk about shoes. Girl with red sneakers. It sounds like my life is full of adventures, passion and seeking the life I want. Red sneakers. I associate them with freedom, traveling, watching sunset totally alone but not scared and of course running away from your worries. I know it’s kind of silly but for me red sneakers are the source of power and motivation.

Falling love with Venice

Beautiful Venice

Beautiful canal, Venice, Italy

I have just returned from my trip to Venice. I don’t even know what to say… I have once again fallen in love. Not with person but with city, beautiful place and getting lost. I knew even before going that Venice was going to be one of those places that I would see myself calling as home in the future. It still surprised me just how much I loved this city and getting lost around its narrow streets. Now you will hopefully see a lot of more photos from my Italy trip!

Lost in Bremen

Travel Photos: Bremen

BREMEN, GERMANY

I did trip to Bremen a few weeks ago and I have to say that this city really surprised me. After doing some research through internet it seemed like boring place where I was just going to spend a few days before continuing to Brighton, UK because that was cheaper than flying there straight from Finland. After spending three nights I have to say that Bremen charmed me and I have to return there rather sooner than later.

I mean look at the photo! Who couldn’t love idyllic old town? And especially if there is areas full of street art, small boutiques and tasty food close by! Bremen really is worth of visit. If you want to see more photos from Bremen stay tuned and follow my real travel blog HERE. I will be posting Bremen Photo Diary later today. Also I have now FACEBOOK page so feel free to follow it!

Street Art in Brighton

Travel Photography Blog

SMALL ALLEY, BRIGHTON, BRITAIN

One thing that made me fall in love with Brighton was the pretty streets of the city. Look at all this art! It was like walking in fairy tale. Or okay maybe more like in book for young adults. A little threatening but so charming.

More Brighton stories will be soon in my “real” TRAVEL BLOG and my travel related FACEBOOK.

New Perspective to Travel

travel photos Brighton

I thought this photo was quite cool so I wanted to share it. I took it in my recent Brighton trip because I have been trying to test some new perspectives while taking photos. Also, this summer I will try to learn how to edit photos using something else than my phone’s apps… Luckily I will have a lot of time in work! Just have to find some free internet courses that will be easy enough for me.

Urban Helsinki

urban city buildings Helsinki

Isn’t the best feeling in traveling when you find something beautiful but hidden? That was just what I felt after snapping this photo. For me the blue building, river, green leaves and that window make perfect combination.

Growing up with art

kiasma colorful museum

I love art. Short sentence telling you a lot about my childhood and the way I was raised. I can’t even recall how young I was when my parents first took me to museum. However I remember that my little brother was still small baby when we took him with us.

So my family has always visited museums. Everything from modern art to those “boring” master pieces from last century. I grew up with art so seeing this art work in museum Kiasma made me go back to my childhood. Interactive art for children to play with their parents. How cool is that?

Cool Museums

Japan took my museum expectations to another lever. Maybe it’s because I am from tiny Finland but every museum I visited left me with awe. When I went to this one in Ueno park I had (surprisingly) good luck and it was free admission day.

Oh, I almost forgot… I got to see real mummy! #historynerd
